Return & Refund Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unworn or unused, unaltered, undamaged, with all original packaging, tags and certificates. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately (within 72 hours) if:

  • the item is defective,

  • damaged in transit, or

  • you received the wrong item

so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right with a replacement, repair or refund.

Manufacturing defects are covered; however, damage caused by misuse or wear is not.


Eligibility Requirements (Fine Jewellery Standard)

In addition to general return conditions, Majestic Jewellery requires that returned items must be:

Unused and unworn

No scratches, dents, bending or surface marks.

Unaltered and unmodified

No resizing, engraving, tightening, stone replacement or external adjustments.

Undamaged and in original condition

Returned with all original packaging & documents, including:

  • Luxury gift box

  • Protective pouches

  • Certificates of authenticity

  • Hallmark/Assay Office paperwork (if provided)

  • Any complementary inserts (cleaning cloths, care cards, etc.)

Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be eligible for a full refund.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain jewellery items cannot be returned due to their personalised nature or legal/industry restrictions:

Custom-made / bespoke jewellery

Items designed or crafted specifically for you, including personalised sizes, engravings or unique stones.

Made-to-order jewellery

Unless faulty, items produced specifically for your order cannot be returned.

Items showing visible signs of wear

Scratches, bending, stretching, missing stones, residue or damage.

Altered jewellery

Any item resized or modified by another jeweller cannot be returned.

Sale items and gift cards

These are non-refundable.

If you’re unsure whether a specific item qualifies, please contact us — we will gladly review photos and advise.


Exchanges

The fastest way to receive the item you want is to:

  1. Return the item you have (if it meets eligibility conditions),

  2. Once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new piece.

Exchanges are available only for items that are unworn, unaltered and within the 30-day period.


European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period

If your order is shipped to the EU, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days without providing a reason.

The item must still be:

  • in the same condition received,

  • unworn or unused,

  • with tags,

  • in its original packaging, and

  • accompanied by proof of purchase.

This does not override restrictions on custom-made or personalised jewellery.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund is approved.

If approved:

✔ Refunds are automatically issued to your original payment method

within 10 business days.

Please remember it can take additional time for your bank or card issuer to process the refund.

Trade-In & Buyback Policy (Separate From Returns)

Majestic Jewellery offers both:

Trade-In Programme — upgrade your old Majestic pieces for new designs

Buyback Guarantee — we may purchase your gold at a market-based price

These services operate separately from return & refund rights.

Trade-in or buyback may offer better value than returning an unused piece.
Our team will gladly advise on the best option depending on your jewellery and the current gold market conditions.


Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping.

We strongly recommend using a fully insured and tracked delivery service.
Majestic Jewellery cannot accept liability for items lost or damaged during return transit.
