RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At Majestic Jewellery, every piece is crafted to last a lifetime — and your confidence matters as much as our craftsmanship. This policy explains your return, cancellation and refund rights clearly and fairly.
We offer a 30-day return window: you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return, in addition to your statutory rights below.
Your Legal Right to Cancel (UK)
For standard collection items, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Our 30-day window above extends this period for your convenience. This right applies to standard pieces even when purchased on sale or at a discount.
How to Start a Return
To start a return or cancellation, contact us at online@majesticjewellery.co.uk or via WhatsApp at +44 7767 514098. We will confirm the return and provide instructions. Eligibility — Fine Jewellery Condition Standard
Returned items must be: unworn and unused (no scratches, dents, bending or surface marks); unaltered and unmodified (no resizing, engraving, tightening, stone replacement or external adjustment by another jeweller); undamaged and in original condition; returned with all original packaging and documents (luxury gift box, protective pouches, certificate of authenticity, hallmark/Assay paperwork where provided, and any complimentary inserts). Returns not meeting these conditions may receive a partial refund or be declined, at our reasonable discretion.
What You Can Return
Standard collection pieces — rings, wedding bands, necklaces, pendants, bracelets and earrings — are returnable within the window above, including items bought on sale or at a discounted price. Because our pieces are made to order from standard designs, made-to-order production alone does not remove your right to return a standard item.
Non-Returnable Items
Only the following are excluded, due to their personalised nature or for legal/hygiene reasons: genuinely bespoke or personalised jewellery (custom-designed, custom-engraved, or made to a non-standard specification or unique stone request); gift cards; items showing visible signs of wear or damage; items altered or resized by a third party after delivery. If unsure, contact us first — we will review photos and advise.
Ring Sizing & Free Resizing
Because rings are made to your size, we contact you after purchase to confirm fit and, where needed, send a free ring sizer. Choosing a size does not count as personalisation and does not remove your right to return a standard ring. We also offer free resizing within 60 days if the fit is not perfect.
Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us within 72 hours if the item is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, so we can make it right with a replacement, repair or refund. Manufacturing defects are covered; damage caused by misuse or normal wear is not.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get the piece you want is to return the original item (if eligible) and, once the return is accepted, place a new order. Exchanges are available for unworn, unaltered items within the 30-day window.
European Union — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped to the EU, you have the right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. The item must be returned in its original, unworn condition with all packaging, documents and proof of purchase. This does not override the exclusions for genuinely bespoke or personalised pieces.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will let you know whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may need additional time. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at online@majesticjewellery.co.uk.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We strongly recommend a fully insured, tracked service. Majestic Jewellery cannot accept liability for items lost or damaged in return transit.
Trade-In & Buyback (Separate from Returns)
Beyond returns, we offer a Trade-In Programme (upgrade your Majestic pieces for new designs) and a Buyback Guarantee (we may purchase your gold at a market-based price). These operate separately from your return and refund rights and may sometimes offer better value than returning an unworn piece. Our team will advise on the best option for your jewellery and current gold market conditions.
