Trade Account FAQ — Everything Retailers Ask Before Opening an Account
How our trade supply works, from opening an account to pricing, hallmarking and delivery. If your question isn't answered here, get in touch and we'll help.
Open a Trade AccountWho can open a trade account?
UK jewellery retailers, bridal boutiques, online sellers and gift shops. We may ask for basic business details to confirm you sell to the public.
How do I apply, and how long does it take?
Apply through our trade form — it takes about two minutes. Most accounts are approved within one working day.
Is there a cost to open an account?
No. Opening a trade account is free; you only pay for what you order.
How do I place an order?
Send us the specification by WhatsApp or email. We confirm the exact trade price — with a suggested RRP alongside — within 24 hours.
Is there a minimum order?
Beyond your opening order there are no minimums. After that you can order a single piece at a time, made to specification.
How is trade pricing worked out?
Gold pieces are priced on weight at the current gold band plus a clear making charge; stone-set pieces are priced by metal, stone and design. Every quote is confirmed before you commit.
Will you provide a suggested retail price?
Yes. We supply a suggested RRP alongside every trade price so you can quote your customer with confidence.
What can you supply?
Wedding rings, engagement rings, lab-grown and natural diamond jewellery, everyday gold lines and bespoke commissions — with loose stones available too.
Which metals do you work in?
9ct, 14ct and 18ct yellow, white and rose gold, plus platinum. Sterling silver is available on selected pieces.
Are all pieces hallmarked?
Every qualifying piece carries a full UK Assay Office hallmark before dispatch, under the Hallmarking Act 1973.
Are diamonds graded?
Qualifying diamonds are supplied with independent laboratory grading where applicable, confirmed at the point of quote.
Do you hold stock or make to order?
Our model is made to order: you sell from samples, line sheets or a design render, and we make each piece once your customer has committed — so you carry no stock.
How long does an order take?
It depends on the piece. Wedding bands are typically made and dispatched within 14 days; stone-set and bespoke pieces are confirmed with a lead time at the point of quote.
How are orders delivered?
Finished pieces are hallmarked and dispatched to you, ready to pass to your customer.
Do you offer bespoke on a white-label basis?
Yes. For bespoke commissions we work behind the scenes and deal only with you — the finished piece arrives ready to present as your own.
Can you provide a design render before making?
Yes. You receive a CAD render so your customer can approve the design before the piece is made.
Can you remodel a customer's own gold or stones?
Yes, where suitable. Heirloom gold and existing stones can be reworked into a new design, assessed case by case.
Can you engrave?
Yes — names, dates, messages and logos can be engraved, with the layout confirmed before making.
